Simplifying the Food Safety Modernization Act Process

Helping customers and manufacturers with FSMA Regulatory Compliance

The FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) is the most sweeping reform of U.S. Food safety laws since the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic (FDC) Act of 1938.

The regulation sets out to change the food safety culture in the U.S. by shifting focus to prevention rather than reaction. The regulation affects the entire food chain from feed manufacturers, growers, and harvesters to processors.

The regulation requires a qualified individual develop Preventive Control Plans for all products and processes. Our food safety experts at Ledge Inc. have completed the required certification and have assisted several companies with updating their food safety plans to meet the new requirements. We can help you develop the supporting programs to make you food safety plan not just compliant, but effective and efficient.
